I crammed everything in storage and artfully tetrised 18 pounds of meticulously contemplated gear in a backpack to travel around the world on my own. The adventure of a lifetime, and a chance to give back a bit of my good fortune through volunteer work and humanitarian projects. Fueled by an endless supply of spectacular experiences I snapped more than a few pics along the way. Here are a few of my favorites…

This series features digital photographs of various raw foods. Focusing on the concept of light as a photographic necessity. My intention was to use light to reveal more than what surface had to offer.

Seeing the big picture comes easily, but catching the details is far more difficult. It’s the small moments where we find the most beauty.
To represent this, I built a 3x3” frame where I swap out images of the small but beautiful moments in my life.
This installation was created for the opening night of UConn's Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition for 2009. The design of the project stemmed from the idea that sketching is a unifying process in the artist's work. To maintain a personal detail for each of the artist's exhibit, we collected a sketch from each artist to contribute to the design.
At the opening night of the exhibit, the artist's individual sketches were printed on smaller sheets, hung, and distributed as souvenirs. The letterforms acted as canvases and were enlarged on individual posters to engage the audience at the opening night.
A series I'm currently working on with four selections from each country I've visited. Build four frames…edit four images…cut four mattes…print, assemble, repeat…
Everyone has stories, family history and secrets – which are many times lost at the end of a life. This book documents and explores those experiences through a series of interviews.
These images were done using a process called stereographic projection, a form of digital processing that shows a 360-degree spherical panorama as a flat image. These two images were hand stitched from a series of 36 images.
The first is a play on the tension of breaking out of our comfort zone. The solidity of the box in many cases prevents us from breaking these barriers.
The second is sculpture from the inspiration to craft a perfect cube. Hand welded and ground down to a fine aluminum like finish.
